Carswell Gould is celebrating a major client success story after its ongoing relaunch campaign for Birdworld helped deliver a 70% surge in visitor numbers at the UK’s only dedicated bird park.
The popular leisure attraction, based near Farnham on the Surrey/Hampshire border, has seen total sales soar by 97%, with admissions up an impressive 118%, according to data based on comparative figures for February half-term week 2025 and February half-term 2026.
Families have flocked to take in the bird park’s revitalised visitor experience, which blends play, learning and conservation in a vibrant setting, following a multi-million-pound investment.
Carswell Gould worked closely with the Park’s marketing and management team to lead a comprehensive marketing and awareness campaign to relaunch the Park’s new visitor proposition as it entered an exciting new phase of growth and development.
From the outset, the team at Carswell Gould recognised that the project was far more than a visual refresh. They immersed themselves in understanding Birdworld’s heritage, its loyal visitor base and its conservation mission, working closely with the Park to create a campaign strategy that could support its long-term ambitions.
Rather than delivering a single fixed campaign, Carswell Gould developed a flexible launch campaign which could reach multiple audiences – from families and schools to conservation partners, stakeholders and the media.
