Now is the right time to give young professionals more opportunities to shine and help the local economy to flourish – that was the message from our Creative Director Ed Gould to business leaders at The Business South Champions Directors’ Dinner.
With Carswell Gould currently celebrating 30 years’ integrated marketing excellence, Ed urged fellow Business South Champions from across the Central South to support young people in finding new careers in business, which he pointed out was especially important during the UK’s economic downturn.
Ed hosted the event, at the Harbour Hotel in Southampton on January 25th, held as part of Business South’s ongoing commitment to supporting and promoting the region. This year, students from the University of Southampton were invited to attend and experience first-hand the value of networking and talking to business leaders.
This event goes beyond the norm in that it offers the next generation of leaders the experience to talk with some of the South’s leading CEOs and directors, It was also an important event for Carswell Gould as part of our 30-year anniversary year. It gave me the chance to reflect and celebrate some of our proudest moments – including helping to set up and launch Business Southampton in the early 2000s which led to the success of the organisation as Business South.
