Marine and Maritime
Benefit from over 60 years of combined experience
A big part of our DNA at Carswell Gould is the marine and maritime industry – it’s where we started.

As an agency headquartered on the south coast of England in Southampton, Carswell Gould has always been closely involved in the marine sector and we know only too well that as an island and maritime nation, the leisure marine and commercial maritime sectors have always been of huge importance to the UK. Our rivers waterways, ports and marinas connect us to the wider world.

Here are just a few of our marine and maritime credentials…

Founder Gill Gould helped develop the brand and communications for Douglas Gill, Henri Lloyd, International Paint, Pains Wessex and many more.
In fact, Fairline was Carswell Gould’s very first client back in the early 90s.

Creative Director, Ed Gould ’cut his teeth’ working boat shows and holding ropes for the likes of Cranchi.
This teenage graft helped him understand how the leisure marine market worked and what the customer wanted (it also introduced him to the Guinness Bar!)

Spending days on end on board a RIB in the North Sea, Ed Gould put his marine experience to great use.
We delivered all the content from the hugely successful GORE-TEX Arctic Challenge which you can see here.

Our PR & Communications Director, Jamie Moran has over 17 years’ experience in the marine and maritime sectors.
Having worked with brands such as; Suzuki Marine, Spinlock, Mustang Survival, Royal Yachting Association, Ribcraft, Wetwheels, Wightlink, Lloyd’s Register, HamiltonJet and the Maritime & Coastguard Agency throughout his career so far.

We have always been proud to support Geoff Holt and the Wetwheels Foundation.
To support their on-going mission to provide barrier-free boating that is truly accessible to all.
