Graphic Designer

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a graphic designer who has a strong background in using design across a multitude of applications. You will love typography, and layouts and be an uber-geek on brand identity and design for digital applications. You won’t be restricted by format and you will be able to show us great work, which communicates ideas across screen, print, outdoors and beyond. You’ll play a key role as part of our studio, helping design and make a huge range of work for our diverse clients and their audiences. As an integrated creative agency, there is very little we don’t do, which means every day will be varied and full of opportunities to show off your design capability. We are ideally looking for someone who has the capability and experience of coding and front-end design implementation. However, it’s not essential and a great design portfolio is the driving decision factor.

Skills/Expertise 

  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Front end and screen design
  • Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software
  • Ability to explain and communicate your ideas verbally, in writing and in mock-ups
  • High technical skill level

You will work on:

  • Conceiving and delivering quality design solutions across; brand identity, collateral communications, advertising, email marketing, websites, apps and software, social media campaigns, wayfinding signs, using every channel, interiors, signs – to be honest, it’s anything and everything
  • Working with the creative director, artwork director, and account manager to define and agree each brief, explore ideas and agree on jobs 
  • Costing up work in terms of estimating time required 
  • Design and artworking
  • Work flexibly and be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a fast company, undertaking any other such duties as may be reasonably required of you
  • Use all the relevant software, including creative suite. Use screen and physical formats to communicate our clients’ brands, communications, and products 
  • Ask the right questions to build a brief from which you can create design solutions Work under pressure, responding positively to tight timescales and prioritising workloads
  • Actively support colleagues, contributing and providing support to a tight-knit team
  • Attend occasional events and exhibitions
  • Attend client and company meetings and training events as required 
  • Use management software correctly and submit timesheets daily
