Local perception was out of step with the high standard of educational opportunity on offer. So college leaders turned to CG to make perception match with reality.
CG immediately embarked on a research project to fully understand the public perception of CCS and then worked closely with senior management to take a planned and integrated approach to the campaign.
The key was improving relationships with local media, then identifying and capitalising on opportunities. Our team worked inside the college, developing and delivering a hard-working marketing plan and identifying good news opportunities.
A major redevelopment programme was used as a platform to focus on the key message of positive change. In addition to extensive PR work, CG used a mix of reformatted events and vibrant design to engage young people and ensured all communications were consistent on and offline, undertaking regular website and social media updates.
Today CCS is recognised as one of the best colleges not only in the region but the UK and CG proudly remains an instrumental part of the team.
